Communications Officer will play a crucial role in shaping and executing
our positioning strategy.

Recruitment profile: Communications Officer  Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive communication and visibility strategies
• Support and enhance documentation of projects.
• Lead and train teams on effective communications practices
• Manage and coordinate events to enhance organizational visibility
• Create engaging content for various internal and external platforms to promote our work and impact.

Position details
Commitment: Full-time role
Location: Dar es Salaam, Tanzania with the possibility of occasional travel
Expected Starting Date: As soon as possible

Requirements

• Bachelor’s
  Degree in Mass Communication, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism,
  Politics, International Relations, or Business Administration.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in PR and Communications, Marketing, and Stakeholder Relationship Management.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Swahili.
• Proficient in the use of MS Office, social media applications and team communication platforms e.g. slack.
• Proficiency in developing and managing strategic communication plans.
• Ability to manage and coordinate events.
• Strong leadership qualities and experience in team management.
• Ability
  to collaborate effectively with and mobilize diverse stakeholders.
  Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
