Purpose of the position
Supporting
the finance department, head of accounts and the management by
completing the regular accounting tasks of the Company.

Qualification and Experience
- Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 3 years of experience in finance and taxation
- Not more than 45 years of age
- Ability to write and speak English
- Computer literacy. (proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook etc)
- High knowledge of IT will be an added advantage
- Good communication skills
Job description
- Prepare,
examine payroll, financial statements and other financial reports for
accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting standards. - Register new employees with NSSF benefits. And Prepare Monthly TRA, NSSF, WCF and other statutory returns
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of accounts and finance documentation and keep track of creditors and debtors
- Calculate provisional tax and revise as necessary, maintain finance files and assist audits
- Ensure accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
- Carry out financial analysis of the company operations to inform decisions.
- Develop,
maintain, and analyze budgets, preparing periodic management reports
that compare budgeted costs to actual costs and variances. - Analyze on a monthly basis chargeable and non-chargeable time in the Company.
- Update accounts receivable and payable lists and conduct debtors and creditors age analyses.
- Compute all relevant taxes, prepare and file tax returns to ensure compliance with all statutory authorities.
- Compute, make payment and submit all relevant statutory returns.
