Mafinga
is a town in Iringa Region, Tanzania. This area has got its council and
town status since 2007. According to the 2012 census, the district has
about 51,902 residents living there. In the 2022 census, they counted
122,329 Mafinga is located along the TANZAM road from Dar es Salaam to
Mbeya, Zambia and Malawi. During the colonial period it was called
“John`s Corner”. There are two places namely Mafinga itself and at a
distance of 15 kilometers is Sao Hill.

The
