Position: Marketing and Communications Intern.
Location: Dar es Salaam
Job Type: Full-time
Reports to: Senior Marketing and Communications Officer.
Duration: 6 – 12 months

We
currently have an exciting internship opportunity in our Marketing and
Communications Department at Jubilee Life Insurance Corporation of
Tanzania Limited.

Role Purpose
As a Marketing &
Communications Intern, you will provide hands‑on support to the
Marketing & Communications Officer across all day‑to‑day activities.
You’ll assist with campaign execution, content creation, event
coordination, and performance tracking, while learning the ins and outs
of life‑insurance services and products.

Main Responsibilities
Operational
1.
You will assist in rolling out marketing campaigns for our life
insurance products by helping to develop and proofread email blasts,
social‑media posts, and online ads that comply with our brand
guidelines.
2. You will draft and schedule content across our social
channels, track basic engagement metrics, and report performance trends
to the team.
3. In support of content creation, you will write blog
posts, newsletter articles, and social‑media updates, while liaising
with designers on graphic‑asset briefs and ensuring all materials remain
on‑brand.
4. You will help organize webinars, seminars, and
promotional events—managing venue bookings, preparing invitations,
taking on‑site notes, and following up with vendors or attendees as
needed.
5. As part of performance tracking, you will collect campaign
data and build simple dashboards in Excel to visualize key metrics over
time.
6. You will support public‑relations efforts by drafting press
releases and internal announcements, maintaining our media‑contacts
list, and conducting outreach under senior guidance.
7. By
collaborating with product, sales, and customer‑service teams, you will
help gather feedback that shapes future marketing initiatives and
contributes to a positive, inclusive company culture.
8. You will
follow an individualized development plan, participate in regular
coaching sessions, and proactively seek feedback to build the skills
required to succeed as our next Marketing & Communications Officer.

Qualifications & Requirements
· Bachelor Degree in Marketing Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related field
· Strong Verbal, and written communication skills, Attention to detail.
· Social-Media Savvy across platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
· Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work in a team.
· Curiosity and an eagerness to learn.
