Kifanya SACCOS Limited
is a Savings and Credit Cooperative Society operating in Njombe,
Tanzania, dealing with providing financial services to its members. The
institution wishes to invite Tanzanian applicants with suitable
qualifications and experience to fill the available vacancies.

Chief Accountant (1 Post)
Chief Accountant at Kifanya SACCOS Limited July 2025
Duty Station: Njombe, Kifanya.
Duties and Responsibilities: 

• The
  successful candidate will report to the General Manager. He/she will be
  head of the accounting and finance unit of the institution.
• To manage the accounting department.
• To ensure that accounting and financial information is prepared and maintained correctly.
• To
  coordinate the exercise of budget preparation, including the provision
  of regular budget information and control of the institution’s budget.
• Chief advisor for all financial matters to the management and board.
• To ensure that all legal returns are prepared and remittances are released on time.
• To ensure that the institution complies with tax matters such as VAT, PAYE, etc.
• To prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual returns.
• To design and implement financial internal control of the institution.
• To settle transactions in accordance with approval, with prudence and existing control within the institution.
• To prepare legal and regulatory information (final accounts of the institution) according to accepted standards.
• Responding to audit queries in support of the management team.
• To perform other related duties as directed by his/her supervisor.

Education and Experience Requirements: 

• A
  holder of at least a Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy/Finance, Business
  Administration (Majority Accountancy or Finance), or related field from
  a recognized higher learning institution.
• Holder of
  professionally recognized accountants’ qualifications such as CPA, ACCA,
  CIA, or equivalent qualifications recognized by NBAA.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role from a reputable organization.

Cashier (1 Post)
Cashier at Kifanya SACCOS Limited July 2025
Duty Station: Njombe, Kifanya.
Duties and Responsibilities: 

• To process various financial transactions.
• To balance cash drawer and reconcile transactions.
• To manage the petty cash transactions.
• To provide customer assistance and respond to queries.
• To resolve customer complaints and issues effectively.
• To keep the checkout area clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• To keep all financial transactions records.
• To perform any other duty as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Diploma in Business Education.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience in a similar role from a reputable organization.
