Senior Finance Officer (Taxation & Statutory Compliance) at Heritage Insurance Tanzania November 2024
JOB LOCATION: DAR ES SALAAM
Job Type: Full-time
Position
responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant financial
regulations, including filing and paying taxes, levies, and other
statutory obligations.
Additionally, the role involves representing the Company in all
tax-related affairs and implementing adequate financial controls.

QUALIFICATION
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or business related field.
• CPA or ACCA holder
• At least five years of work experience.
• Practical experience in tax administration.
RESPONSIBILITIES
•
Handle all tax-related matters–Ensure the Company complies with tax
laws and regulations. Liaise with tax authorities and external tax
consultants and coordinate tax audits.
• Ensure various TRA returns, such as VAT and payroll, are reconciled and verified monthly.
• Ensure accurate and timely filing and payment of premium levy, city service levy, and all other applicable levies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and Year-end reports (Specific reports to be allocated).
• Compile/Reconcile allocated schedules supporting the balance sheet reconciliation.
