HUMAN RESOURCE OFFICER
SUMMARY
The
HR Officer should bring strategic leadership and technical expertise to
human resources department, with experience of a broad range of HR
Officer areas including resource planning and organization design,
talent and performance management, reward, and compliance. He/she will
have experience of capacity planning and translating strategy and vision
into operational objectives.
The role will require high levels
of drive, resilience and determination, and a willingness to challenge
established thinking and act as an agent for change. The candidate must
be an inspiring leader, able to translate strategy into action and to
motivate a team to deliver at their best.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring and onboarding
- Ensure job descriptions are up to date and compliant with all local, state and federal regulations
- Develop training materials and performance management programs to help ensure employees understand their job responsibilities
- Create a compensation strategy for all employees based on market research and pay surveys; keeps the strategy up to date

Warehouse Officer
SUMMARY
Supervise
daily activities of warehouse operations to ensure safe and efficient
receiving and issuing of stock as per Asfa standards.
Location: Mwanza HQ Offices
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Allocate
equipment, warehouse space, and personnel in accordance with the
warehouse supervisor’s planning schedule and pre-alerts - Conduct daily operations /toolbox meetings with relevant warehouse teams
- Conduct daily spot checks to ensure warehouse staff adhere to rules and procedures as published in the relevant operations
- Co-ordinate
inbound, storage and outbound activities of shipments in a timely, safe
and efficient manner while ensuring full accountability - Ensure correct stacking and storage procedures are adhered to as per warehouse supervisor instruction and QHSE rules
- Perform
cycle counts, monthly stock takes with gap analyses and action plan
follow-up Issuing of gate passes and delivery notes per truck/activity
Preparation of goods receipt and dispatch notes - Ensure that
warehouse staff catalogs, archives documentation correctly and in a
timely manner Counter-sign all stock cards, tally sheets, and stock take
sheets to ensure stock accuracy Maintain a catalog of all items with
dimensions, volumes, descriptions, and suppliers available from the
warehouse perform any other duties as may be assigned by Asfa Management

SUMMARY
Oversees
the day-to-day operations of the Safety and fire prevention to provide
maximum safety for staff, Company’s property and the surrounding
community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- To Support the development of OHS policies and programs
- To Advise and instruct on various safety-related topics (noise levels, use of machinery etc.)
- To Conduct risk assessment and enforce preventative measures.

SUMMARY
We
are looking for punctual candidates with good time management skills
for the position of Planner/scheduler who is responsible for Plans,
schedules, coordinates and/or monitors the flow of products through the
complete production cycle. Provides timely planning and scheduling of
manufacturing work orders to the manufacturing floor in order to achieve
both internal financial goals and customer delivery dates.

- Design
all project schedule and contract agreements and ensure integrity of
data in all project life cycle and prepare required reports to provide
support to all clients. - Prepare an efficient Contract Master
Schedule and maintain knowledge of all key project milestones.
Administer project from conceptualization to implementation and evaluate
all issues. - Design all planning controls for various levels and fabricate all resources.
- Design an efficient engineering schedule and prepare all vendor packages in coordination with project technical directors.
- Ensure compliance to schedule and manage all project deliverables and recommend increase in all engineering processes.

SUMMARY
Accountant
will be an integral part of an administration and finance support team
to perform a variety of activities in accordance with accounting
principles and standards to control the company’s financial resources
and ensure that it complies with all relevant regulations, laws and
reporting requirements. Follow established procedures and guidelines to
accurately maintain the organization’s financial records and
transactions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Checks
and analyzes financial information and prepares more complex financial
reports and accounting statements so that senior management has accurate
and timely information for making financial decisions. - Coordinates
the issuance of monthly financial reports such as: Income Statement,
Balance sheet, Account consolidation, and consolidation of Tangible and
Intangible assets, weekly and monthly Margins. Budget reports,
Investment Projects control. Prepare Reports weekly, monthly and
annually. Assist in development of budget. Perform and review account
reconciliations - Schedules monthly tax payments, VAT (with the
monthly sales and purchases records), perform reconciliation of income
tax withholdings, arrange payments on accounts, keep records of excise
duties deducted by the Bank for payments made to suppliers - Keeps control of such legal books and records of accounts as: General Ledger, Sales records, purchase records, Inventory
- Assists
in managing the credit process by working closely with internal
/external auditor to ensure that the required information is provided
timely so that the audit can be completed as scheduled. - Assists
in preparation of annual financial report including financial
statements, notes, supporting schedules, transmittal letter and
statistical information - Trains, tests and ensures integrity of
the financial system (controls and technology). Train, test and maintain
the financial software system and its integrity - Prepare provisional tax returns and ensure that provisional tax payments are done timely
- Prepares VAT returns on monthly basis and submit to TRA on time.
- Procure and manage suppliers, vendors and service provider relationships such as the internet providers etc.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent
- 4/5 years of experience in an industrial business
- CPA holder preferred.
- Experience in preparing budgets
- Computer
literacy especially Advanced Excel/word/power point & familiarity
with tally or ERP system especially NAVISION system, Database Management - Knowledge of applicable local laws, codes and regulations
- Ability to compile, analyses data and prepare complex financial reports and statements

upper body strength and physical stamina.
