Tanga is a port city in northeast Tanzania. Covering large swaths of coastline, Tanga Coelacanth Marine Park shelters prehistoric coelacanth fish and manatee-like dugongs. Within the park, Tanga Bay is home to Toten Island, with its ruined mosques and German colonial buildings. Tongoni village has centuries-old, ruined tombs. Northwest of Tanga, the limestone Amboni Caves are filled with stalagmites and stalactites.

Kilindi is one of the ten districts of Tanga Region in Tanzania. It is bordered to the east by the Handeni District and Handeni Town Council, to the north and west by the Kilimanjaro Region and to the south by the Morogoro Region. It split from Handeni District in 2002.

About Bugando Medical Centre
The Catholic Church built the Hospital between 1968 – 1977 and it was offically opened by His Excellency the late President Julius Kambarage Nyerere on 3rd November 1971. In 1972 the Hospital was nationlized by the Government. However, in October 1985 the Government handed back the Hospital to the Tanzania Episcopal Conference of the Catholic Bishops of Tanzania who is the owner with an agreement that the hospital be run in partnership with the government to provide Government Services as a referral and consultant hospital for the Lake Zone.
Bugando Medical Centre is a referral, consultant and university teaching hospital for the Lake and Western zones of the United Republic of Tanzania. It is situated along the shores of Lake Victoria in Mwanza City. It has over 950 beds and over 1300 employees.
It is a referral tertiary specialist care for eight regions and serves a catchment’s population of over 14 million people.

It is an exciting time to join our team as we will be opening a new radiotherapy centre located in the state- of- art oncology wing building at the hospital with Co-60 machine and conventional simulator to make it a regional hub for cancer treatment. It is the second established centre in the country.

Mwanza is Tanzania’s second-largest city, and the lake region’s economic heart. Mwanza is set on Lake Victoria’s shore, surrounded by hills. In addition to being a stop on the way to Rubondo Island National Park, Mwanza is a great starting or finishing point for safaris through Ngorongoro, Serengeti national parks and Mount Kilimanjaro.

Job Summary
Geita Gold Mine, Geita To provide working support to the Legal Counsel in all aspects in the day to day administrative duties including but not limited to Assisting the Legal Counsel about submission, processing and periodic follow up of work permits/residence permits as per the requirements of the government departments.

Job Description
1. Ensure a safe workplace for all employees, contractors and visitors by maintaining compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations, policies &amp; procedures.
2. Submission, processing and periodic follow up of work permits and residence permits as per the requirements of the government departments.
3. Prepare the weekly status reports and send to the Legal Counsel every week.
4. Booking appointments for the legal counsel with the Stakeholders.
5. Manage general and other duties as assigned by the Legal Counsel which may including drafting letters, typing documents/reports, filling correspondence, photocopying etc.
6. Maintain strict confidentiality in performing the duties of the position. This includes protecting the privacy of personal information when collecting, holding, using or disclosing information.
7. Perform any other duties as designated by the Legal Counsel and the management

Essential Requirements:

  • Diploma in business administration or equivalent.
  • High level computer literacy with excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills. Ability to adapt quickly and learn new software packages quickly.
  • Able to travel and remain on site as and when required
  • Ability to work independently, under minimum supervision, under pressure and deliver by meeting deadlines
  • 5 years’ experience in an equivalent position
  • Independent, self-motivated who can work with minimal direct supervision
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience in mining or heavy industry is preferable.
  • Completion of secondary education
  • Advanced skills in written and verbal English
  • Valid Tanzanian Driver’s Licence

The City has several tribes including the Safwa, Nyakyusa, Nyiha and Ndali all being agricultural peoples. Mbeya also boasts as one of the regions that form the bread basket of Tanzania.

Mbulu District is one of the six districts of the Manyara Region of Tanzania. It is bordered to the north by the Arusha Region and Lake Eyasi, to the east by the Babati Rural District, to the south by the Hanang District, and to the west by the Singida Region.

The District is inhabited by people of different ethnic affiliations, especially the Iraqw people who are some of the earliest agro-pastoralists to migrate to what is now the Republic of Tanzania. Other native tribes are the Wahatzabeti living in Yaeda Chini, living a primitive life, and the Datooga people living in Mbulu Vijijini. People engage mainly in agriculture, keeping livestock and farming activities. There is plantation of onions in Bashay and wheat in many places.

The Manyara National Park is partly in Mbulu region where tourists can come and visit. One of biggest hospitals in northern Tanzania is found in Mbulu: the Haydom Lutheran Hospital.

Position: ART Outreach Nurse/ Clinician
Location: Morogoro (1), Dar es Salaam (4), Kilimanjaro (1), Shinyanga (7), Dodoma (1)
Position overview
Works in collaboration with the other members of the mobile team (and regional and district authorities) to offer high quality HIV counseling and testing, family planning services, screening and referral for STIs, gender-based violence, TB, alcohol and drug use, linkages, HIV care and treatment services to clients in their assigned region. More specifically, the clinical team members will:
Provide ALL Sauti biomedical services (HTS, FP, screening for TB, STI, Gender based violence, alcohol and drugs)
Enroll clients into ART outreach service and provide clinical care to HIV infected stable clients through ART outreach service including laboratory sample collection
Meet with district officials, community leaders and partners to introduce and schedule community ART services.
Collaborate with the CBHS providers, Regional coordinator and others to initiate and/or participate in demand creation in targeted communities.
Identify opportunities for the program to increase demand, efficiency and quality of program delivery.
Participate in the collection and reporting of ART outreach data as required by the program. And ensure proper clients records keeping and reporting
Stay current in knowledge in the field of HIV in general.
Ensure standard of care and conduct regular charts review
Develop and maintain excellent relationships with colleagues and local officials.
Perform other duties related to providing community ART as required.

Required Qualifications:
Must be a licensed nurse, nurse/midwife, clinical officer, assistant medical officer or medical officer in good standing.
Experience working with populations at high risk for HIV, conducting outreach testing, and/or in provider initiated counseling and testing, and family planning services, desirable.
Must be willing to be based in assigned region with extensive (weekly) travel. Must be willing to work off and unusual hours. Travel up to 80% of the time.
Must be physically fit to assist with set up and break down of services in sites.
Must demonstrate self-management (i.e. motivation, dealing with pressure, adaptability)
Must be highly flexible to accept dual roles and extra tasks as assigned by the site coordinator.
Additional experience with ART, community counselling, mobile HTS, Family planning and GBV is desirable.

The town has the largest hospital in the region, Rukwa General Hospital, which is government funded, as well as the smaller Dr. Atiman Hospital administrated and run by the Catholic Diocese of Sumbawanga.

The town acts as a supply and commercial center for the Rukwa Region and some governmental agencies are to be found there, notably the transport department for the region. Overview

TANZANIA NATIONAL ROADS AGENCY (TANROADS) is a Semi -Autonomous Agency under

the Ministry’ of Works, Transport and Communication established on July 1, 2000 and suitably is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Tanzania Mainland’s Trunk and Regional Roads Network. Its primary functions include the roads network maintenance and axle load control, the implementation of road safety and environmental measures, provision of advice on the strategic framework policies and plans for the road sector.



Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) is vested with the responsibility of Maintenance and Development of Trunk and Regional Roads Networks in Tanzania Mainland. The Agency is also responsible for conducting Axle Load Control Operations through Weighbridges.

Carrying out activities as described in The East Africa Community Vehicle Load Control Act (2016). The activities include the following:

Weigh Motor Vehicles Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) as well as axle weights as described in The East Africa Community Vehicle Load Control Act (2016).
Impose road damage fee for overloaded vehicles
Measure physical dimension of Motor Vehicles or any load being carried on the motor vehicle
Ascertain compliance with special permits for trucks carrying abnormal loads
Record all necessary particulars regarding the motor vehicle being weighed
Enforce Road Traffic Axle Load Control by the use of Weighbridge Scale devices

Position: SENIOR SYSTEM AUDITOR
Nature and Scope:
The successful candidate will report to Director, Internal Audit. She/he will be responsible for providing an independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness and efficiency of the core banking system, internal control and risk assessment on Information Technology and Communication (ICT) systems.

Key Responsibility
Developing Risk assessment and annual audit plan with emphasis on IT systems and application.
Developing and implementing Internal auditing manual, policies, procedures and program.
Maintain and support IT infrastructure of the Audit Department.
Assist team members to ensure that the overall objectives of the audit are met.
Extract and analyze data from the banking core system and other bank records, including defining audit scope and tests for audit at field’s works.
Conduct planned audit fieldwork in specifies are of IT in relations to Credit function, Operations, Legal and report on the findings and recommendations.
Review accuracy and efficiency of the bank accounting system and internal controls.
Monitor accuracy of data in different IT systems like core banking system and all other software used by the bank.
Keep Director Internal Audit regularly informed of the progress of the audit and exception issues related to IT.
Prepare audit work paper by documenting audit test and finding and evaluating the sufficiency and appropriateness of audit evidence to support conclusion drawn.
Prepare the audit report after completion of audit work and submit to Director Internal Audit for review.
Ensure that audit reports and recommendations including those by the external auditors and BOT examiners are implemented.
Follow up and report on implementation of Internal, external and Bot Audit findings and recommendations
Strong analytical, written and oral communication skills with ability to write reports and documentation in a concise and focused style.
Perform any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor Degree in Accounting. Finance, Commerce or related discipline from recognized Institution.
Must possess a recognized professional accountancy qualification such as CPA (T), ACCA, ACA or any other recognized accounting professional qualification.
Minimum of four (4) years’ working experience in a recognised audit firm and/or financial institution.
Possession of professional qualification of CISA will be an added advantage
Highest degree of integrity, excellent and well developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
Must be computer literate and possess programming knowledge.
Well-developed communication and presentation skills.

Position: SENIOR INTERNAL AUDIT
Nature and Scope
The successful candidate will report to the Director, Internal Audit. She/he will be responsible for ensuring that all accounting, financial, operational and other systems are adequate in design and effective in operations, to ensure that laid down procedures of the bank are being followed.

Key Responsibilities
Participate in the Planning & budgeting process and schedule audit operations.
Participate in the preparation and updating of the internal audit charter, internal audit manual and audit policies.
Plan and prepare an audit program for the audit assignment to be conducted.
Review, appraise and report on the soundness, adequacy and application of financial and other management controls.
Review and appraise the laid down risk management and mitigation procedures.
Conduct special audits and investigations and present the report to the Director of Internal Audit.
Conduct Audit assignments on various operational areas of the bank and produce reports of findings.
Analyze data for evidence of deficiencies in control, fraud or lack of compliance with approved management policies.
Make follow up and ensure that recommendations made by internal, external auditors and BOT examiners are implemented.
Perform any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Commerce or related discipline from a recognized University/lnstitution.
Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
Must possess a recognized professional accountancy qualification such as CPA (T), ACCA. ACA or any other recognized accounting professional qualification.
Minimum of four (4) years’ working experience in banking/financial or financial institution.

Position: FINANCE OFFICER – FINANCIAL REPORTING AND BUDGETING
Nature and Scope
The successful candidate will report to the Manager, Financial Reporting and Budgeting. She/he will be responsible to ensure correct records are maintained in bank system, bank’s reports (both on/off balance sheet) are produced timely.

Key Responsibilities
Generation of financial reports from the Banking system
Coordinate the audit of managed Funds.
Submission of all tax returns/levies
Fixed assets management including booking of the assets in the register;
Respond to stake holders’ request including balances confirmation.
Prepare and analyze banking industry performance using published BOT reports for bank’s decision making.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or related discipline from a recognized University/lnstitution.
Possession of recognized accounting qualification such as ACCA, ACA, and CPA (T) is an added advantage.
At least 2 years relevant experience in a commercial bank/financial or related institution
Ability to analyze and interpret Tax and other Regulatory implications on financial statements and make recommendations.
Strong and well developed interpersonal and organizational skills.
Strong communication and report writing skills.
Highest degree of integrity.
Must be computer literate.

Position: PRINCIPAL FINANCIAL ANALYST
Nature and Scope
The successful candidate will report to the Manager Funds Mobilization and Syndication and support middle office in relation to funding and Treasury Management. She/he will be responsible to undertake rigorous financial analysis on the bank’s balance sheet and markets to inform decision – making process.

Key Responsibilities
Analysis of key financial performance ratio trends and recommend appropriate course of actions.
Support the analysis of risk profile and stress testing and advise on counterpart limits.
Undertake income sensitivity to changes in market variables including yields, interest rate, exchange rate, inflation and recommend appropriate mitigation measures.
Undertake analysis of liquidity risk due to maturity mismatch, funding levels and changes in the market trends.
Asset valuation in respect of fixed income securities and bank’s equity investments.
Undertake market analysis of pricing and ensure bank’s pricing is commensurate to Bank’s objective and advise appropriate measures.
Review, analyse and interpret management accounts for decision making.
Advise on appropriate timing and pricing for issuance of various funding instruments in the capital market and monitor their performance in the secondary market.
Monitor economic trends, capital market rules and regulations to ensure smooth implementation of bank’s funding strategies.
Analysis of liquidity management reports including cash flows and gap analysis.
Perform any other related duties as may be assigned from time to time by the Supervisor.

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor degree or its equivalent in Finance, Banking, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, and Accounting related discipline from a recognized Institution. Holder of Master’s degree will be added advantage.
A professional experience in corporate finance, A charted financial analyst (CFA), or ICMA is an advantage.
Minimum of six years of relevant professional experience with good working knowledge in relation to transaction structures, products, fixed income, derivatives, equity, African capital markets, financial analysis of project finance and corporate finance lending and equity investments, risk management instruments.
Proven excellence in written and verbal communication skills. Ability to communicate complex and technical issues in simple terms, while maintaining accuracy.
A strong background in investment and development banking with experience in working with private sector projects, state owned entities, utilities/infrastructure authorities and Government.
Drive for results, takes personal ownership and accountability to meet deadlines and achieve agreed-upon results, and has the personal organization to do so.
Strong analytical, quantitative and financial market skills.
Competence with use of standard MS Office software applications, particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel and Treasury Systems – Summit, Reuters and Bloomberg applications and T24.

Position: OFFICER LIQUIDITY MANAGEMENT
Nature and Scope
The successful candidate will report to the Manager, Liquidity Management. She/he will be responsible in liquidity management in ensuring enough funds to meet the day to day obligations including disbursement of loans, operational expenses and repayment of maturing obligations on borrower’s funds.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor maturing obligations and liaise with finance in ensuring timely payments.
Renegotiation and re-pricing of matured obligations.
Provide inputs for short-term, medium- term and long-term cash flow plan to meet Liquidity needs.
Execution of approved investment decisions.
Work closely with back office to ensure timely payment of funding related liabilities.
Monitor on daily basis all accounts, support reconciliation exercise and highlight anomalies.
Undertake any other duties as assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications, Knowledge and Experience
Bachelor degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Banking or related fields obtained from a recognized Institution.
At least two (2) years of relevant work experience in a reputable Bank/Financial institution or CPA(T) holder or equivalent
Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to prepare cash flow reports in a concise and focused style.
Knowledge of financial analysis is an added advantage.
Advanced computer skills especially in spread sheets, database and presentation.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all payments by preparing payment vouchers, cheques and cheque lists.
  • Ensuring that all payments are:
  • Made with full compliance of the Financial Regulations of the Authority
  • Supervises the cashier and ensure that:
  • Petty’ cash records are properly maintained.
  • Cancelled cheques records is maintained.
  • A Cash payments made are authentic,
  • VAT returns are made promptly and accurately,
  • Check cashers daily and carry out daily cash count 
  • Keeping proper safe custody of all documents, vouchers and stamps.
  • Monitoring Bank balances to ensure that sufficient funds are available for scheduled payments.
  • Checking all Ledgers accounts periodically/Monthly and reports any abnormalities for rectification.
  • Maintaining cheques register and Bank payment instruction letters.
  • Preparing on time monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for the Authority.
  • Preparing statutory’ tax returns and submitting the same as provided by law.
  • Making sure that the books of accounts are audited by external auditors within the required legal period and presented to the Board of Directors
  • Proper valuation of closing stock and fixed assets at the end of the financial year, 
  • Ensuring compliance to the Tanzania Financial Accounting Standards (TFAS)Tntemational Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
  • Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Finance Manager.

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Graduate m Accountancy from a recognised institution and a CPA (T) or its equivalent qualification. At least three (3) years of practical experience as an accountant in a reputable organisation. Title of the Position: Internal Auditor II (01 Post)

Scope of the position and expected output: Oversees Procedures and Regulations Governing the Management of Financial Resources in the Authority.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Detection and prevention of errors, fraud and waste.
  • Ensuring that LUWASA activities are done in accordance to the Waterworks Ordinance Act No. 8 of 1997 and its By-Laws,
  • Participating in the investigative financial and performance audits
  • Ensuring that the Authority’s financial regulations, financial accounting system, procurement regulations and staff regulations are being complied. 
  • Ensuring that fixed assets and stocks are properly safeguarded, verified and accounted for.
  • Making recommendations for the amendment or review of the financial accounting system, financial regulations, procurement regulations and staff regulations
  • Advising the Authority’ on compliance with implementations of the Authority’s Strategic plan.
  • Performing any other duties relevant to the scope of works as may be assigned by the Authority’.

Qualifications & Experience:
Graduate in Accountancy from recognised Institution and a CPA (T) or equivalent qualification He/she must be registered with NBAA in the category of “authorize Auditor’. Clear understanding of procedures and regulations governing the management of financial resources m public organisation with at least three (3) years proven experience as senior auditor in a reputable organisation.

Title of the Position: Procurement Officer II (1 Post)

Scope of the position and expected output: Ensure Efficient procurement and issuance of right materials of right quality at the right tune to the Authority’.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Identifying materials requirement of the Authority’ and making timely procurement at minimum costs and with due regard to user specifications.
  • Recommending to the heads of the department, standards and procedures for the acquisition, storage and issue of all materials and services required for the proper operations and maintenance of the urban water supply and sewerage systems.
  • Compliance with the authority’s tendering and ordering procedures for materials and services.
  • Establishing, evaluating and maintaining reliable primaiy and secondary sources of material supply to ensure continuity’ of the Authority’s operations.
  • Close follow up of suppliers to ensure timely deliveries of purchased materials and take appropriate corrective action on any delayed items.
  •  Review with the departmental and sectional heads then procurement requirements and ensure that materials and service required by them are obtained at minimum costs.
  • Monitoring all available information sources on market trend that may have an effect on prices or lead times and makes recommendations for action to the management team.
  • Keeping informed of new materials and shipment techniques and communicate these to the user departments/sections
  • Co-ordinate with departmental and sectional heads for the salvage of usable materials and the disposal of obsolete and non-salvageable items.
  • Preparing purchase tender documents and inviting tenders from potential suppliers, process and inform successful tender and ensure that the goods are delivered received promptly and m accordance with the terms of purchase.
  • Purchasing required materials and supplies in economic order batches from reliable suppliers, at best possible purchases terms.
  • Constantly reviews for approval procurement policy and procedures with view towards improving efficiency.
  • Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Managing Director

Qualifications & Experience: 
Graduate m Degree or Advance Diploma m Procurement and Material Management, procurement and logistics management and should be registered by TPSTB. and be able to interact with superiors, peer and subordinates. At least three (3) years working experience as a procurement officer m a reputable organization.

Title of the Position: Water Artisan II (03 Posts)

Scope of the position and expected output: Carryout Repair and maintenance of LUWASA Water Supply Network.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that new customer get water connection as scheduled.
  • Monitoring and reporting unauthorised water connection.
  • Rehabilitation of water supply structures and building.
  • Repairing all water leakage assignments.
  • Construction of water supply structures and buildings.
  • Reporting uncounted water loss and recommend necessary’ rectification.
  • Connecting new water customers as scheduled.
  • Reporting on unauthorised water connection.
  • Carrying out water disconnections and reconnections timely.
  • Reconnecting water debtors as assigned in a timely.
  • Keeping proper record of water connectioa’reconnectioa’disconnection carried out.
  • Reporting of water pipes bursts.
  • Reporting of water distribution system being contaminated by customer service lines
  • Performing any other duties as may be assigned by the Network Supervisor

Qualifications & Experience:
Holder of Secondary School certificates /Advance Secondary’ certificates who has attained Level III certificate in Plumbing from a recognized institution. At least three (3) years working experience in the operation and maintenance of water distribution system Network. Knowledge of painting is an added Advantage

Title of the Position: Water Quality Technician II (1 Post)

Scope of the position and expected output: Facilitation of Water quality’ analysis and treatment.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out water sample test every day m order to establish the types and quantities of chemicals required for water treatment.
  • Ensuring that the right volume of clean water is distributed.
  • Writing reports on water analysis encountered problems of water flow, electricity and chemicals and how the problems were solved.
  • Proper analysis of all types of chemicals, which are required for water treatment and recommending their purchase and quantity for storage.
  • Making analysis of the purchased chemicals for suitability’ of water treatment.
  • Ensuring that the right dose of chlorine is administered in water sumps.
  • Performing any other duties as may be assigned by Water Production Engineer.

Qualifications & Experience: 
FTC Diploma in Water Laboratory’ from recognised Technical College. At least three (3) years working experience m Water Treatment Plant
