Job Advertisement: Manager for Mkilania Hall
Mkilania Hall, located in Kwa Mathias, Kibaha is seeking a highly motivated and experienced
manager to handle the day-to-day operations of the hall. This hall is used for a variety of events
such as weddings, birthdays, and meetings. The successful candidate will be responsible for
providing a first-class experience to all customers and ensuring the smooth running of events.

Qualifications:
● High school certificate or above.
● Minimum of two years of experience in event management or a related field
● Strong leadership and organizational skills
● Excellent communication and customer service skills
● Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
● Proficient in Microsoft Office and event management software
● Must have at least 2 references from previous employers or clients
● Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when required
● Must have financial management skills.

Job Description:
● Oversee all aspects of the hall’s operations, including staffing, event planning, and customer service
● Coordinate and execute events, including weddings, birthdays, meetings, and other celebrations
● Manage and train staff, including servers, bartenders, and event coordinators
● Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, including caterers, florists, and entertainment providers
● Ensure the hall is properly maintained and equipped for events
● Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a timely and professional manner
● Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve the overall operations of the hall
● Plan the venue layout according to the number of guests and the type of event
● Prepare work schedules and complete documentation in a timely manner
● Manage Hall’s good image and suggest ways to improve it
● Control operational costs and identify measures to cut waste
● Create detailed reports on weekly, monthly, and annual revenues and expense
● Answer customers’ questions and accommodate special requests
