UNITEC Civil Consultants Ltd is a multi-disciplinary
consulting firm specialized in Engineering and Project Management. The
firm is a limited liability Company based in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania and
registered by the Engineers Registration Board (ERB) as an engineering
Consulting firm specializing in Civil/Structural Engineering, Project
management, etc.
Currently the firm is looking for the
following dynamic, qualified, competent and motivated personnel to fill
the following vacancies below.

Materials Engineers (3 Positions)
Civil Consultants ltd Consulting Civil, Structural Engineers & Project
The
positions require candidates with an experience is laboratory testing,
pavement design and supervision of civil engineering infrastructure
projects such as road works, etc.
- The
candidate should possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Civil
Engineering and must be registered by the Engineers Registration Board
of Tanzania or equivalent. Required minimum experience after graduation
is 15 years. The candidate should be proficient in English.
Bridge/Structural Engineers (2 Positions)
The
positions require candidates with an experience in supervision of
Bridges as mandatory and other structures including concrete, steel
structures, etc.
- The candidate
should possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural
Engineering and must be registered by the Engineers Registration Board
of Tanzania or equivalent. Required minimum experience after graduation
is 15 years. The candidate should be proficient in English.

Land Surveyor (1 Position)
The
positions require a candidate with an experience in supervision of
infrastructure works including topographic surveying, control surveying,
Lidar Survey, Survey Data processing, etc.
- The
candidate should possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Land
Surveying/Geomatics and must be registered by relevant Professional
Body. Required minimum experience after graduation is 10 years. The
candidate should be proficient in English and competent in surveying,
AutoCAD Civil, excel applications.
Project/Construction Managers
The
positions require candidates with an experience in supervision of
infrastructure projects at a position of Resident Engineer or Project
Manager. Competence in Microsoft Office applications such as Word,
Excel, Power point, VISIO, is mandatory. Competence in Microsoft Project
or PRIMAVERA is an advantage. Experience in the use of FIDIC Conditions
of Contract is also mandatory.
- The
candidate should possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, and
Post Graduate Qualification in Project Management, or Construction
Management is mandatory. The Candidate should be registered by relevant
built environment professional body. The required minimum experience
after graduation is 15 years. The candidate must be proficient in
English language.
Recommended:
Design Civil/Structural Engineers (2 Positions)
The
positions require candidates with an experience in design of
civil/structural engineering works, including competence is AutoCAD
Drafting, Detailing. Knowledge in design applications such as Master
Series, PROKON, AutoCAD Civil, or MIDAS, etc. is mandatory.
- The
candidate should possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Civil/Structural
Engineering and must be registered by the Engineers Registration Board
of Tanzania or equivalent. Required minimum experience after graduation
is 7 years. The candidate should be proficient in English.

High Voltage Power Supply Inspectors
The
positions require candidates with an experience in supervision of High
Voltage Systems including Transmission Lines, Substations, etc.
- The
candidate should possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical
Engineering and must be registered by the Engineers Registration Board
of Tanzania or equivalent. Post Graduate qualification is an added
advantage. - Required minimum experience after graduation is 12 years. The candidate should be proficient in English.
Civil Works Inspectors
The
positions require candidates with an experience in Supervision of Civil
Works such as earthworks, bridges, engineering systems, etc.
- The
candidate should possess at least Bachelor’s Degree in relevant
engineering field. Registration with Engineers Registration Board of
Tanzania or equivalent is an advantage. Required minimum experience
after graduation is 12 years.
