IT Infrastructure Specialist
Job Summary:
Design,
install, document, support and monitor infrastructure for KCB Tanzania.
Ensure network for voice, data and network security as well as servers
are managed for optimal performance. Manage service provider for optimal
performance of the network by ensuring the SLA is maintained and any
bleaches are logged. Liaise with group team for any escalation that
requires group support or guidance

Job Details:
Key Responsibilities
- Design and Manage IT Infrastructure to ensure it operates at a optimal level and required standard
- Configure
and setup of voice , data and security, servers, operatings systems and
storage equipment and ensure they are working at optimal levels as well
as they comply with KCB Standard and policies - Liaise with
service provider and IT group team to ensure all problem and enhancement
that are related to communications are resolved within agreed SLAs. As
well as ensuring PM check list are updated and PM is carried out as per
contract - Provide proactive monitoring of the IT infrastructure
in terms of capacity and reliability and performance and advise for any
problems proactively - Ensure all infrastructure for BCP is ready
in case of any unforeseen infrastructure failure at head office .Manage
recovery ( BCP) documents and ensure they are available at production
and DR site - Perform network management and provide daily performance and uptime report on daily , weekly and monthly basis
- Ensure
all configuration for the communication equipment are available for
quick recovery and ensure that they are stored at offsite. - Maintain and keep the inventory of all communication equipment and software
- Ensure all DMZ , WAN and LAN segments are secured as per policy and as per standard configuration document
- Participate
in service delivery meetings to ensure vendors delivers as per contract
and provide specification to procurement team during purchase of
services or equipment

Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree IT/Computer science/engineering,
- Professional qualifications in IT certification (CCNA,CCNP routing and switching , security ,voice ,MCITP,ITIL)
