“In Tanzania we will grow enough electricity and especially after the completion of the Julius Nyerere dam which will feed 2115 megawatts. ,
“There are many electricity projects in various areas including the Rusumo water project that is under construction which will generate 80 megawatts. There are still other projects in Kinyerezi ii, and Kinyerezi i. We will also use gas electricity. So I want to assure my brothers we will have 5000 megawatts of electricity.
“So the issue of electricity will be a certainty, we will no longer rely on the electricity of neighboring Kagera here. We believe if we have enough electricity the issue of power outages in industry will be history,” said Dr. Magufuli.
